
Quality Improvement Specialist

This is a high-impact, highly collaborative role that gives you the opportunity to influence how Australia's future energy assets are delivered.
As a Quality Advisor, you'll work closely with our Engineering, Project Delivery, and Construction teams to embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle - from planning and design, through to site execution and commissioning.
With travel to site around 2 weeks per month, this is a challenging role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes across projects
- Support project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs)
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks
- Champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes
- Provide hands-on quality support on-site during key project phases
- Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices
- Influence a strong quality culture across both office and site environments
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 5+ years' experience in quality roles, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects
- Recognised qualifications in Quality Management or a related field
- Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
- Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600 and AS4100
- Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (approx. 2 weeks/month)
- A current Australian Driver's Licence
