
International Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking a skilled International Supply Chain Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with international suppliers to ensure strong in-store availability in accordance with the long term order plan within the fast-paced grocery category.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop innovative solutions to solve global supply network operational issues across distribution and transport, and collaborate with a large range of suppliers and colleagues within Supply Chain Operations and Merchandise Business Units to deliver strong in-store availability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day supply in line with current business expectations for working capital, availability, stock cover and waste.
- Negotiate with and influence suppliers to adapt production and container loading operations to ensure end to end cost reductions and efficiencies are maximised.
- Partner with and provide insights to the Merchandise Business Units to cover sourcing trends, supply feasibility and serviceability, costing tools and legislative requirements.
- Influence and work cross functionally with distribution centres, freight forwarders and the Merchandise Business Units to help improve service levels.
- Proactively seek and identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end international supply chain and manage the implementation of initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in a planning or inventory management role, with exposure to international supply chain or logistics preferred.
- Knowledge of retail industry and FMCG, combined with analytical and modelling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, where process optimisation and cost reduction has been a focus.
- Advanced problem-solving capability, with the ability to question process and come up with ideas to mitigate supply risks.
