Job Title: Electrical Planning Lead

Job Description

This position involves leading impactful projects in electrical planning and network operations to drive reliability, efficiency, and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering scheduling, coordination, and facilitation of planned outages, ensuring safety of personnel, public, and plant, achieving organisational targets, minimising costs, re-work, and impact on customer supply reliability.

This role requires a strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standards, with the ability to manage complex challenges, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage outage schedules and coordinate network access
  2. Lead a team to promote a positive productive work environment through mentorship and coaching
  3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, identifying and implementing process improvements
  4. Monitor and maintain high performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targets
Requirements
  • Experience in electrical engineering or a related field with demonstrated experience in an operational or planning role
  • Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standards
  • Problem-solving skills and experience managing complex challenges
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
