About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Banking and Finance Senior Associate (6+ years PQE) who will work closely with partner Arlene Colquhoun, ensuring that you are involved in engaging and interesting work. You will work across a broad spectrum of financing transactions, including property finance, general corporate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, and project finance, working on both lender and borrower sides.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drafting facility and security documents
  • Assisting with the negotiating of financing transactions
  • Running banking and finance matters from a project management perspective
  • Advising on relevant legal issues arising in banking and finance transactions

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience working in a banking and finance team within private practice
  • Strong drafting skills with attention to detail
  • A client-focused approach, attuned to understanding and delivering on clients' commercial business objectives
  • The ability to support the partner with team development and utilise your outstanding interpersonal skills in mentoring our aspirational junior lawyers
