The Reliability Engineer is a key member of the factory maintenance team, supporting the integration of 50+ ABB robots into our production process. Working collaboratively with the manufacturing maintenance and engineering team, you will identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, and process enhancements through data management and digital scheduling systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support OFS/OEE meetings to review downtime and collaborate with supervisors on improvement activities.
- Review and update area TPM boards, conduct audits, and analyze downtime events.
- Conduct daily analysis of downtime events, update the daily lost unit log, and implement countermeasures.
- Weekly and monthly analysis and reporting of downtime events, including number of events, total time, and lost units.
- Lead continuous improvement programs for significant downtime events.
- Coordinate and analyze preventative and predictive maintenance activities, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography.
- Review and modify maintenance PMs for effectiveness.
- Coordinate weekly breakdown improvement meetings and plan equipment improvement activities.
- Ensure follow-up improvement activities are entered into the system and tracked to completion.
- Train and coach maintenance personnel in reliability practices.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering or mechatronic/mechanical engineering or formal qualifications in reliability maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related sector with robotics.
- Ability to handle intricate processes and understand WHS, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Proactive and flexible, with strong technical and analytic skills, advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage changes and multiple challenges.
- Can-do attitude and ability to contribute to a positive team environment, with excellent communication skills.
