About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Maintenance Supervisor to join our Routine Maintenance Bitumen team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a Patching Crew and ensuring the efficient maintenance of potholes within the Ipswich City Council maintained road network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide instruction to staff to enable skilled minor construction and maintenance of roads and drainage assets
  • Plan, acquire and utilise all material and resources to ensure tasks and projects are delivered efficiently
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained
  • Show leadership in the workplace, develop work teams and individuals, promote team effectiveness and manage effective workplace relationships
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current "C" Class Driver's Licence
  • Experience in road maintenance activities
  • General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (desirable)
