**About the role**
As Supervisor (Roads District Team) you will be part of the Roads and Drainage team in the Works and Field Services Branch. This role is responsible for the leadership, coordination and planning of a team that performs general maintenance on the road network within Ipswich.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- General maintenance of Council’s road network
- Implement schedules and a program of works for routine maintenance crews
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines
- Ensure continuous improvement of services and staff
- Foster and encourage professional development of the team
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Civil Construction
- Familiarity with local road network
- The ability to be resilient and agile
- Current MR drivers’ licence
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry Card)
**What's on offer?**
This is a Permanent position, LGE Level 8 - Level with a salary commencing at $67,250 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
