About the role
As Supervisor (Patching) you will be part of the Routine Maintenance Bitumen team and responsible for supervision of a Patching Crew. Your main focus will be on day-to-day operation of the crew to maintain potholes within the Ipswich City Council maintained road network.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Supervise and provide instruction to staff to enable skilled minor construction and maintenance of roads and drainage assets Plan, acquire and utilise all material and resources to ensure tasks and projects are delivered efficiently Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained Show leadership in the workplace, develop work teams and individuals, promote team effectiveness and manage effective workplace relationshipsAbout you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence Experience in road maintenance activities General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) card Current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (desirable)View the position description to learn more about the role.

This is a permanent full time Local Government Employee Certified Agreement Level 7-9 position with a salary commencing at $68,344 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
