Fremantle College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Leadership Team as a Follow the Dream Coordinator. This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.

Key Responsibilities- Foster relationships with emerging and current Follow the Dream students, their parents, families, and the community.
- Individual case management of each student to understand their individual aspirations and learning needs and to determine an appropriate personalised plan.
- Participate in school leadership team meetings.
- Manage the tuition for the program, including the recruitment, performance management, and professional learning of each tutor and collaboratively developing a tutoring plan for each student.
- Responsible management and monitoring of the Follow the Dream budget.
- Advocate for and promote the Follow the Dream program in all school settings, including primary schools, in the local Aboriginal communities, and in the broader community.
- Demonstrate a developed cultural awareness and modelling culturally responsive approaches.
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning practices, particularly relating to Aboriginal students and their communities.
- Demonstrated extensive skills and experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs and strategies at a school, region, or system level.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage physical and financial resources.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership that builds capacity, deals effectively with change, and generates innovative solutions related to achieving educational outcomes.
- Demonstrated highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to conduct research, prepare reports, and establish effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve planned outcomes.
