Senior Clinical Specialist in Hepatology

Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced medical professional to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer in Gastroenterology. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative services in gastroenterology and hepatology, while also participating in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities under the General Medicine Department.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and consultative specialty services in gastroenterology and hepatology
- Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities
- Ensure a high standard of professional performance and promote an academic environment
- Participate in the gastroenterology/liver consultant roster
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical Qualifications:
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Gastroenterology) or equivalent specialist recognition
