Physical Education and Health Teacher Opportunity
The Waverley Christian College is a forward-thinking, culturally diverse co-educational school offering a quality educational experience from Kinder to Year 12.
We have over 45 years of experience in providing students with a comprehensive education. Our Wantirna South Campus is currently seeking a part-time Secondary Physical Education and Health Teacher to commence in January 2025.
This is a fixed-term contract until the end of Term 3, 2025. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Physical Education and Health while demonstrating a commitment to our college values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Education and Health
- Demonstrate a commitment to our college values
- Work collaboratively with staff to achieve student outcomes
Requirements:
- Qualifications in teaching and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain these prior to commencement
- Ability to teach Physical Education and Health
- Commitment to Christian education
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
