Teaching Opportunity in Physical Education and Health
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Physical Education and Health to students in Years 7-12 at a dynamic secondary college.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant community of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching Physical Education and Health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
- To assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals and improve student outcomes
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum standards and the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills into Physical Education and Health lessons
- Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing evidence-based teaching strategies and evaluating their impact on student learning growth
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and experience in establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
