About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Tasmania Government as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Budget and Resource Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-level financial management and budget management consultancy services to the Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial management and budget management consultancy services to the Department, with a focus on whole-of-agency budget development and monitoring.
  • Support budget allocation and monitoring services, including planning, evaluation, and reporting processes.
  • Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and information systems.
  • Provide high-quality client services around budget management and resource allocation to schools and business units.
Requirements
  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Eligibility for membership of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or Certified Practising Accountants or equivalent qualifications.
