Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Registered Nurse with Minimum 1 Year Full-Time Experience in an Acute Care Setting
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Concurrent Enrollment in a Diploma of Midwifery University Program at UTS or WSU
  • Ability to Undertake Part-Time Employment of FTE 0.84, 8-Hour Shifts on a 7-Day Rotating Roster
  • Understanding of the Role of a Midwife within a Primary Healthcare Framework
  • Demonstrated Ability in Clinical Problem-Solving
  • Demonstrated High Level of Interpersonal, Verbal, and Written Communication Skills
  • Understanding of, and Ability to Work Within, a Team
