**Maternity Bookings Clerk**

**We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Maternity ward at North Shore Private Hospital on a Permanent Part Time basis (65 hours/fortnight)**

**About the Role**

Our customer focused administration team are responsible for ensuring the seamless patient health journey. This opportunity will see you responsible for key duties including appointment bookings within our Maternity Ward.

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Prior admissions/pre-admissions experience highly desirable
- Scheduling and health fund checking experience highly desirable
- Be highly committed to providing excellent customer service outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

**About the Hospital**

North Shore Private Hospital is a 312-bed acute surgical and obstetric facility which performs most surgical specialties including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, advanced general and colorectal, urology, spinal surgery, paediatrics and Robotic Surgery. Our hospital offers the latest in cardiac technology combined with first-class standards of accommodation. The theatre complex consists of 17 operating theatres which includes one hybrid theatre and a 25 bay PACU.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be up-to-date in their **vaccination against COVID-19 (including the third dose, as required)** using a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation.
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
