Construction Inspector Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a qualified Construction Inspector to join their team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and investigations to improve workplace safety outcomes.

  • Conducting thorough inspections and investigations to identify potential hazards and non-compliance with relevant legislation;
  • Delivering targeted education and engagement programs for workers and employers to promote a culture of safety;
  • Responding to serious workplace incidents as part of the emergency response service;
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to industry stakeholders on work health and safety matters;
  • Participating in the planning and development of targeted projects to reduce harm in workplaces and support regulatory priorities.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent communication skills to engage and influence key stakeholders to improve safety outcomes;
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and prepare accurate records;
  • Strong knowledge of work health and safety legislation and regulations;
  • Ability to provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders on issues relating to work health and safety.
