Site Construction Specialist

The role of Site Construction Specialist plays a pivotal part in the delivery of a national fibre upgrade that will enhance digital connectivity for communities across Australia. As a key member of the team, you will support the Project Manager and broader team by managing work packages and ensuring delivery meets scope, quality, and expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule construction activities.
  • Manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring systems are accurately updated and reconciled in accordance with construction progress.
  • Coordinate traffic management and council approvals.
  • Oversee defect closure and site restoration.
  • Support procurement and financial reconciliation.
  • Participate in safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Drive continuous improvement through lessons learnt workshops.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant experience in telecommunications or civil construction, as well as a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and MS Project, and possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
