Position Overview

  • Assist in the formulation of communication strategies and campaigns alongside the Senior Communications Officer and Assistant Director.
  • Coordinate the execution and evaluation of communication strategies to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Draft and refine content for various platforms: websites, social media, digital channels, public relations, and marketing.
  • Contribute to the creation of media content that influences government decisions, Ministers, and the public.
  • Identify opportunities for communication and develop pertinent materials.
  • Foster robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Operate independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Over two years of experience in a media or strategic communications capacity.
  • Exceptional strategic communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Sound judgment and capability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to cultivate strong and productive working relationships.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a small team and across various project teams.
  • Quick adaptability to new IT systems.
  • Demonstrated personal motivation and integrity in achieving objectives.
  • Skill in managing and prioritizing competing tasks and responsibilities.
