This role will lead the technology shift from monolithic and manually configured applications to managed, secure, scalable, pipelined platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technology shift to managed, secure, scalable, pipelined platforms
- Develop and embed a culture of immutable and componentised architecture
- Work closely with portfolio, cloud engineering and security teams to automate infrastructure processes
- Assist in developing managed application environments
- Collaborate with functional portfolio teams to focus on features instead of foundational services
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualification
- Extensive relevant experience within Platform Engineering or Systems Administration
- Proven leadership ability with experience in cultivating a dynamic agile team culture
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven success in contributing as a technical expert as part of a team
- Proven experience in Infrastructure as a Code, systems administration, networking concepts, enterprise monitoring solutions and enterprise containerisation solutions
