About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Team Lead to join our engineering team at Engineering Design & Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping our engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers to deliver exceptional building service solutions.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive business growth and success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within the building service sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on delivering exceptional building service solutions.
  • Hold or eligible for RPEQ or QBCC licence.
  • Relevant education and degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • A strong track record of success in Brisbane-based engineering projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (RPEQ) certification.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead a team to success.
