Job Summary:
We are seeking a Clinical Midwife to join our team in the First 1000 Days program. This role will involve working with socially complex women and families, providing autonomous care and requiring advanced communication and problem-solving skills.
About the Role:
The Clinical Midwife will work as part of an integrated midwifery and child health nurse model, providing holistic, flexible, needs-driven, and responsive health services to vulnerable families. This includes pregnant women, postnatal women, and their children up to two years old.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience working with socially complex women and families
- Experience working autonomously, having advanced communication and complex problem-solving skills
- Knowledge/experience working with Child Protection Liaison Unit/Child Safety
