The Australian Army seeks a highly skilled Public Relations professional to join their team.
Key responsibilities include drafting and distributing press releases, developing relationships with defence journalists and assembling promotional materials featuring Army personnel and activities.
Additional responsibilities involve organizing media training for service members and advising senior command staff on sensitive matters involving uniformed personnel.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public relations, journalism, marketing and corporate communications.
They must also be an Australian citizen between 17 and 56 years old, mentally and physically fit for basic military training and willing to work at ADF bases in Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Sydney or Townsville.
