About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at HSBC. As a key member of our Wealth and Personal Banking Product team, you will be responsible for all home loan pricing and will report directly to the Head of Secured Lending.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver Portfolio Profitability: Assess and improve portfolio profitability through traditional NPAT, margin growth, balances, growth, attrition, costs, arrears, LIC's, and Ro RWA.
  • Pricing and Elasticity Modelling: Develop and implement pricing and elasticity models for all products, loans, and segments.
  • Pricing Segmentation: Create pricing segmentation across Investment, Non-Resident, Owner Occupied, and CP segments.
  • Retention Strategies: Develop and implement retention strategies to improve run-off levels and profitability.
  • New Mortgage Products: Identify and execute new mortgage products, complete financials, source funding, and analyze sales.
  • Portfolio Data Analysis: Develop and analyze portfolio data to derive market, sales, and customer trends across the AUH market.
  • Staff Mortgage Sales Process: Manage and streamline staff mortgage sales process and procedures.
  • Investment Lending Growth: Manage investment lending growth reports and ensure returns are maximized while meeting regulatory obligations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a pricing or product role in asset and liability funding and managing liquidity costs.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Australian mortgage industry, current legislation, and key drivers.
  • Skills: Advanced analytical and numerical skills, strong communication, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Education: Degree qualification desirable.
  • Citizenship: Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
