About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Pricing Manager to join our Consumer Strategy & Operations team at DoorDash Technologies Australia Pty Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an improved pricing structure to make our platform more affordable for consumers.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze consumer and pricing data, translate insights into a high-level vision and operational plan, and deliver the plan through a combination of hands-on operational levers and collaboration with international teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics, or related experience, with a minimum of 6-9 years of experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the optimal pricing strategy for our customers and business, considering overall fees, menu prices, and marketing strategy
  • Optimizing fee structures locally through hands-on operational levers and launching new products through collaboration with international teams
  • Creating value for our consumers and the business through optimized pricing structure, resulting in tangible and immediate results
  • Leading Australia's Affordability workstream, collaborating with other S&O teams, finance strategy, analytics, product, and more

The successful candidate will be a strong business acumen professional, able to identify the 'so what' from data, interdependencies between teams, and translate them into an operational strategy.

They will be a relentless problem solver and a 'do-er', but also comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team.

Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills are required, with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively and 'set-the-pace' for the rest of the business.

Proven analytical skills and the ability to deliver actionable recommendations are essential, with advanced Excel skills and competency in SQL and dashboards required.
