Strategic Business Development Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth in our self-insurance business. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic business initiatives and develop strong relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10+ years of experience in injury management, claims, or related fields. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office applications are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow the self-insurance division.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand awareness and leverage market opportunities.
  • Deliver staff training and development activities.
  • Lead and support various projects within the self-insurance business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10+ years of industry experience in injury management, claims, or related fields.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of medical protocols, Work Health and Safety practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, LinkedIn.
  • Analytical skills and preparedness to work with internal AI tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Disability Discrimination & Equal Employment Opportunity Legislation.
