Warehouse Assistant

Kincumber is a thriving commercial and industrial hub, boasting breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our retail outlet at Kincumber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to our team members to ensure seamless operation of our donated goods process, including categorisation, sorting, and despatch of product
  • Assist customers in finding the products they need, ensuring their shopping experience is enjoyable and satisfying
  • Foster positive working relationships with volunteers and staff to guarantee effective collaboration in both the warehouse and retail store environments
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for customers, volunteers, and employees
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor to allocate tasks efficiently among volunteers and employees

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of warehousing and stock management practices
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service
  • Familiarity with sewing, quilting, and related craft activities
  • Excellent teamwork and coordination skills
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new software systems
  • Previous Point of Sales experience or willingness to learn
