About the Role
">As a Family Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing case management and support to families with children and young people. Your key responsibilities will include:">">- Collaborating with school staff to identify students who require additional support and developing intervention plans that cater to their needs.
- Managing case files, maintaining accurate records, and completing documentation as required.
- Staying up-to-date with evidence-based practices and emerging research in case management.
- Partnering with families and cultural representatives to deliver culturally sensitive support.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:">- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work or a related field.
- Proven experience working with children, young people, and their families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and NSW Child Safe Standards.
- Strong analytical case work skills, including effective intervention, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
