Mine Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mining Engineer to join our operations at Broken Hill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mine planning, with expertise in shaping the future of underground mining and driving innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize comprehensive mine plans that prioritize safety, efficiency, and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate closely with geology, technical services, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of mine planning activities.
- Provide high-level technical input to support critical operational decision-making.
- Champion continuous improvement through innovative planning solutions and best practice methodologies.
- Ensure all mine designs meet statutory safety and environmental standards.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10 years of experience in underground mine planning for complex operations.
- Strong proficiency in Vulcan and Deswik software.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety innovation and operational excellence.
