Kathle en Valley is forging ahead - and we're now growing our underground technical services team to support the next phase of mine planning and production.We're looking for driven Mine Planning Engineers to join us on this journey as we progress our production ramp-up.
This is a permanent, site-based role on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, reporting to a Senior Mine Planning Engineer.

What you'll be doing Deliver short- and medium-term mine plans aligned to production targetsComplete stope designs, development layouts, and project planning activitiesGenerate mine plan approvals, stope notes, and support LOM planningCollaborate with geotech, ventilation, survey and production engineering teamsContribute to continuous improvement of planning standards and systems What we're looking for Degree in Mining Engineering and/or strong UG operational experienceHands-on experience in Production Engineering essential; planning exposure idealProficiency in Deswik mine design software and VentsimKnowledge of Australian mining safety regulations and standardsStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsPassion for underground mining and being part of a high-performance teamHave obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
