Job Title: Horticulture Team Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticulture Team Supervisor to lead our team of gardeners. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of workmanship while maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

About The Role

This is a full-time position that requires you to supervise and lead a team of gardeners across various sites, including aged care facilities, commercial properties, and residential gardens. You will be expected to be hands-on while also focusing on delivering quality results, meeting deadlines, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To oversee and coordinate gardening teams across multiple sites, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently
  • To ensure all gardening tasks are completed to the highest standards, meeting customer expectations and company requirements
  • To maintain accurate records of team activities, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
  • To provide training and guidance to junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and development within the team
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a horticulture or gardening role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • TAFE Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent qualification
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
