This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in aged care with no experience or qualifications required.

We are seeking individuals who possess a caring and supportive attitude, willing to learn and work. You will be trained on the job and paid to attend training days to gain your Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).

You will work in a fully supported employment and training position for 12-15 months, assisting the elderly in a residential aged care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: showering, dressing, grooming, bed making, room tidying up
  • Feeding: setting tables and meals for residents
  • Social/Activities: listening, building relationships, working with clients and other staff

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • A great attitude
  • Reliability
  • The willingness to learn and work
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check (we will assist)
  • Valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia
  • Access to State Funding requires permanent residency or citizenship
  • Regular availability to work morning shifts, afternoon shifts, and attend training sessions

This part-time contract is for 15 hours a week, with the ability to work up to 35 hours a week. Upon completion of your traineeship, you can be moved to a qualified role within 12-15 months.
