Are you looking for a challenging role that combines customer service and problem-solving skills with hands-on work experience? We are seeking a Batch Plant Operator to join our team at our Raleigh concrete plant.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in concrete batching, scheduling deliveries, and operating plant equipment. Our training program will provide you with the necessary support to ensure your success in this role.

As a Batch Plant Operator, you will be responsible for providing excellent phone-based customer service, taking orders, finalizing sales, and batching concrete to specific mix designs. You will also schedule rostering and truck movements using software, ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements, and ordering raw materials as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport with diverse customers, and experience in a similar role and confidence with computers (Command/Jonel batching systems). Plant Operator experience, particularly with FEL, is highly regarded. Proven ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
