Join Our Team as a Laboratory Supervisor – Chipping Norton, NSW

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our NSW laboratory and provide expert technical support to our concrete and quarry operations across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of the NSW laboratory construction materials testing operations
  • Ensure safe working systems and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Managing product quality and compliance to specifications and standards
  • Regular inspections and calibration of test equipment
  • Providing technical assistance and training to laboratory technicians & field testers per approved procedures and test methods
  • Assisting with the development of concrete mixes and development of quarry product range
  • Maintaining laboratory NATA accreditation and quality compliance to ISO9001 for the manufacture of concrete and quarry products

What you will need to succeed

  • 5+ years' experience in construction materials testing with strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • NATA Signatory with solid understanding of AS/TfNSW standards and NATA ISO/IEC 17025 requirements (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering/science or Cert IV/Diploma in Laboratory Techniques being an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Command (concrete), QestMix, QestLab, and basic SAP
