About the Role

Join a respected and fast-growing specialist concrete company delivering high-quality commercial projects across Sydney. We seek a Site Supervisor with solid experience managing commercial concrete works to lead site teams and drive successful project outcomes.

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations at commercial concrete sites, including formwork, reinforcement, and high-spec concrete pours. Your focus will be on achieving high-quality standards, zero re-works, and defects. You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and trades to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated concreter with extensive experience in complex concrete works such as slab infills, structural pours, detailed formwork, reinforcement, and high-spec finishes. You should have worked on commercial projects, consistently delivering quality work under tight deadlines, with a strong understanding of site safety protocols, technical drawings, and the full concreting process from preparation to finishing.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all work activities on site
• Plan and sequence daily tasks, communicating priorities to the team
• Problem solve as needed
• Create and adjust short-term programs to meet project goals and site conditions
• Procure materials, equipment, and labor to complete daily tasks and meet milestones
• Address resource shortfalls by coordinating with subcontractors, in consultation with the Operations Manager and Clients Calendar (Neo Intelligence)
• Communicate equipment and labor needs proactively to management
• Set out works ensuring correct concrete levels and formwork positioning
• Determine suitable concrete mixes and placement procedures for desired finishes
• Maintain daily diaries including employee times, weather, activities, delays, and deliveries
• Take photographic records of reinforcement and areas with issues
• Verify deliveries and submit related documentation
• Attend subcontractor meetings and safety walks, report actions to management
• Conduct prestart meetings and toolbox talks
• Perform safety and equipment checks daily
• Monitor stock levels and reorder proactively
• Ensure all workers and subcontractors are inducted and PPE compliant
• Manage labor to minimize overtime, notifying management in advance when needed
• Participate in safety planning and risk assessments
• Complete inspection, quality assurance, and quality control documentation
• Perform trade labor works, including formwork, steel fixing, and concrete placement, as required

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient understanding of construction plans, sequencing, and technical drawings
• Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and safety procedures
• Skilled in setting out concrete works with attention to tolerance and finish specifications
• Experience with Quality Assurance processes and photographic documentation
• Experience managing subcontractors and site logistics
• Strong resource planning and productivity management skills
• Software proficiency in Procore, Aconex, Hammertech, Neo Intelligence, Hilti On-Track, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Premier
