At the heart of our operations is a commitment to excellence in winemaking. We're seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the entire winemaking process from fruit reception to bottle-ready products.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Winemaking or Oenology and a proven track record in a similar role. They will be responsible for contributing to production logistics, planning, and execution while maintaining wine quality that exceeds client expectations.

  • Maintaining wine records and reporting to clients
  • Managing risks related to wine production
  • Participating in tasting, blending, and trial work

To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent time management skills, the ability to supervise and organize a team, and a passion for quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee customer winemaking from fruit receival through to bottle-ready products
  2. Contribute to production logistics, planning, and execution
  3. Maintain wine quality exceeding client expectations and meeting specifications
  4. Maintain wine records and reporting to clients
  5. Manage risks related to wine production
  6. Participate in tasting, blending, and trial work
Requirements:
  • A degree in Winemaking or Oenology or equivalent with good technical knowledge
  • Experience in a previous winemaking position
  • Familiarity with Food Safety Management Systems, Standards, and Organic production
  • The flexibility to work extended hours including weekends during peak periods (vintage)
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word and winery-specific software
  • Evidence of being a team player, able to supervise, organise, and plan using excellent time management skills
  • A positive attitude, resilient, highly motivated with an eye for detail
  • A passion for wine making, quality, and a willingness to work in all areas of the winery
