About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Heirloom Carbon. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing both physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement robust security measures to protect our data and systems
  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures for data integrity
  • Provide technical support to resolve hardware and software issues promptly
  • Update and patch systems
  • Document IT configurations
  • Lead IT projects such as upgrades and migrations
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in major operating systems
  • Diagnosing IT systems
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
  • Ability to build and maintain networks and systems
  • Effective communication with internal stakeholders and users
  • Problem-solving skills to gather and analyze data to resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to script automation tasks to streamline operations
