Job Title: Mental Health Therapist
We are seeking experienced mental health therapists to provide therapeutic interventions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in delivering evidence-based group and individual intervention, risk assessment and safety planning, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic services to patients with a broad range of psychopathology, including psychoeducation and skills-based sessions
- Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development as needed
- Work collaboratively with admitting psychiatrists, other allied health clinicians, and nursing staff
- Assess and manage patient risk, developing and implementing appropriate safety plans
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Appropriate recognised qualifications in Psychology (e.g., Masters, DPsych or PhD)
- Experience in delivering therapeutic modalities and group facilitation
- Excellent organisation, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-functioning team
- Current Working with Children Check and full vaccination against COVID-19 and Influenza
