Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to provide maintenance and repair services for heavy-duty diesel equipment in the Pilbara region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing on-site repairs, attending to site breakdowns, and undertaking diagnostic work on a range of Hitachi construction and mining equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal levels
  • Respond to site breakdowns within Tom Price and surrounding areas in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate with technical support staff to achieve successful maintenance outcomes

Key Requirements

  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian-recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications
  • Demonstrate experience, knowledge, and understanding of civil and mining equipment
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously in remote areas
  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Display exceptional technical knowledge and diagnostic abilities, with a strong understanding of Hitachi mining equipment

  • Minimum 12-hour days paid while working in the Pilbara on rostered days
