As a Wellsite Representative, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable execution of well interventions.

This position involves coordinating and supervising workover rigs, rigless slickline, pumping spreads and coiled tubing units performing intervention work on producer and injector wells.

About this Role
  • The role aligns work to Operational Excellence (OE) safety management systems and promotes OE culture - safety leadership and environmental stewardship.
  • Lead pre-start safety meeting discussions with rig and unit crews and review well programmes, POAs, JSAs and debriefs.
  • Capture lessons learned and ensure they are implemented.
  • Be the custodian of lease/well handover and all permits associated with well work.

The representative will work under the direction of the Lead Wellsite Representative to coordinate and supervise:

rig workover activity,
rig P&A activity,
rigless slickline intervention (setting tubing plugs, shifting sliding sleeves, punching, cutting tubing),
rigless coiled tubing through-tubing intervention (tubing clean out, drill out tubing plugs, drill out cement plugs, spot cement plugs),
offline fluids preparation and fluids movement to wellsites,
offline well circulations or well kills,
offline wellhead maintenance (repairing lock down screws, wellhead valves, rod BOP and stuffingboxes),
offline well integrity surveillance work (pressure diagnostics, bleed offs, pressure testing)

Witness barrier verification tests and sign test charts and maintain tallies of components run in the hole.

Daily liaisons with the Wells Engineering team for planning and inventory management.

Coordinate input of actual executed well operations into WellView and track inventory of stock and non-stock items.

About You

- Full Australian working rights
- Well control certification - IWCF Level 4 or IADC WellSharp for Supervisor
- Registered and trained in WellSite Permit to Work for Operating Company Representative
- Proficient in: WellView, ForeSite, JDE
- Strong data management skills and attention to detail

- 7-10 years oil & gas land wells experience with knowledge of land rigs, workover and P&A operations

Our Offer

- 12 month contract (initially)
- 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off
- Pay rate: AUD 1800 per day (inclusive of super)
