Learning Support Specialist

A Christian educator is sought to lead the Academic Growth Centre and oversee learning support and enrichment across our K–12 community. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a focus on nurturing students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of educators to ensure student success.
- Develop and implement learning support and enrichment programs aligned with NCCD guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with staff, families, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes student well-being.
- Provide professional development and advocacy for evidence-based practices.
- A strong Christian faith and active involvement in a local church are essential.
- NESA accreditation and a valid Working With Children Check are mandatory requirements.
- Experience in special education, learning support, and/or enrichment programs is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education principles, disability legislation, and NCCD requirements is expected.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills are crucial.
- A passion for Christian education and a genuine desire to see students flourish academically and spiritually is desirable.
