Job Title: Systems Administrator

The role of a Systems Administrator is critical to the success of our ICT operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing level 1 and level 2 support for all our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide basic and advanced support for all departmental products.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  3. Log and assist with the logging of support requests.
  4. Maintain and administer DCR and SDTE infrastructure and endpoints.
  5. Audit and manage departmental assets at unit locations.
  6. Coordinate upgrades, updates, and maintenance of departmental products.
  7. Contribute to product test and evaluation activities.
  8. Participate in support request triage.
  9. Perform product maintenance according to departmental standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in IT administration.
  • Experience with physical and virtual network devices.
  • Prior experience working in IT cross-functional or project teams.
  • Prior experience working on ADF systems and networks.
  • Must hold an NV2 security clearance.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Powershell.
  • Understanding of cyber security principles.

As this role requires a high level of trust and integrity, only Australian citizens with an NV2 security clearance will be considered.
