The Town of Gawler is looking for a dedicated Civil Maintenance Worker to join their Stormwater Maintenance Team. This permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with experience in civil maintenance, drainage, or a related field. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of stormwater systems and their environmental importance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on stormwater drains, culverts, and associated infrastructure.
  • Monitor stormwater systems for compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to weather-related incidents, implementing effective solutions.
  • Assist in planning and delivering minor infrastructure projects.
  • Operate machinery and tools required for maintenance tasks.
About You

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who can work independently and collaboratively as part of our team. A current MR Driver's License and relevant safety training are desirable.
