Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our design and drafting team. As an Infrastructure Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and detailing all aspects of infrastructure projects.

You will work collaboratively with engineers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our multidisciplinary approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, transport structures, water and wastewater infrastructure, and local roads.
  • Apply proficiency in modelling and drafting using 12d Model, AutoCAD, and AutoTurn.
  • Support our Transport, Local Government & Development, and Water teams with all infrastructure design solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience producing documentation using AutoCAD.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' civil design experience in one or more areas: road reconstruction, local road and LATM design, public realm design, land division design, bulk earthworks, and stormwater design, as well as water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • A working knowledge of Austroads and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Experience in design for state government road authorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on quality outputs.
