The Role

We are seeking an Employee Communications Specialist to join our Corporate Affairs team in the Finance and Business Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for strategic communications, employee communication channels, and partnering with groups to deliver global communications initiatives and announcements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communications Support
    • Provide communications support to assist employees in understanding the company's strategy and goals.
    • Develop and implement internal communication channels to engage employees and promote company initiatives.
  • Content Creation
    • Write and edit content for key communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and virtual townhalls.
    • Develop digital dashboard screens to display around the offices.
  • Campaign Coordination
    • Coordinate the delivery of high-impact internal campaigns for big initiatives, including Kick-off events and employee engagement surveys.
  • Storytelling
    • Seek out REA stories and people that demonstrate the company's strategy in action.
    • Choose internal channels to share the stories so they are visible to all the right people.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Content Creation
    • Experience in writing and editing content for various communication channels.
    • Ability to develop engaging content for a diverse audience.
  • Project Management
    • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
    • Experience in managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in using various communication tools and software.
    • Experience in using Canva or similar design tools.
