Grill'd is a dynamic brand with a passion for providing fresh, quality food and empowering its employees. We're looking for a skilled Internal Communications and Employee Engagement Manager to join our team.

This is a pivotal role within our organisation, reporting directly to the Head of OD&C. You will partner closely with leaders across the business to deliver on our internal communications and employee engagement strategies.

As a key member of our team, you will lead the improvement and development of a range of communication channels and create moments that matter at Grill'd to align people to our purpose and organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the content plan for internal communication to support the Grill'd strategy.
  • Manage internal communications projects alongside stakeholders.
  • Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal communication channels.
  • Plan, execute, and manage the Grill'd employee engagement program.
  • Organise and lead regular events that foster two-way dialogue between the executive team and team members.
  • Manage leadership engagement activities to connect employees to our leaders.
  • Design and deliver workshops to build capability in communication and enable our leaders to run engagement action workshops.
What We're Looking For
  • A true passion for communications, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging narratives.
  • Previous experience in internal communications, preferably gained in a medium to large-sized organisation with a dispersed population.
  • Proven experience working in a multi-site company, understanding the complexities and dynamics of communicating across different locations.
  • A deep understanding of the employee experience, with a focus on engagement and culture.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence and ability to influence senior leaders and drive impactful communication strategies.
  • A commitment to encompassing our core values of passion, ownership, and trust in every aspect of your work.
  • In-depth knowledge of the internal communications industry, including trends, tools, and techniques driving improved engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in workshop and event design.
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships at all levels, balancing the needs of various stakeholders.
