Seeking a leader to head our local branch, overseeing strategic growth and operational excellence. As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive plan to increase market share in the region. This is an all-encompassing role that involves leading a team, managing commercial and operational aspects, and ensuring high standards of compliance.

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Coach and develop your team's competencies, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize business performance by tracking key performance indicators, reporting, and creating strategic plans.
  • Work closely with the community bank board to build relationships, promote the brand, and participate in events.
  • Set an example by prioritizing customer experience and being proactive in addressing branch needs.
  • Maintain a lifelong learning mindset, taking advantage of on-the-job training and other development opportunities.
  • Foster connections within the community, supporting customers, giving back, and making a positive impact while having fun.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Narrandera.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
  • Proven sales mentorship experience, with strategies to drive business growth.
  • Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential).
  • Excellent communication skills to convey clear expectations.
  • A solid understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
  • The ability to drive operational efficiency and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • An in-depth knowledge of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • Experience in retail branch operations.
