Operations Manager

This is a key leadership role that requires a strategic and commercially astute individual to lead our Rental & Used business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service across Victoria and Tasmania.

  • Drive a geographically dispersed team to deliver on performance objectives;
  • Improve operational efficiencies and enhance both customers' and employees' experience;
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of responsibility;
  • Oversee the utilisation of available resources to ensure value for money for our customers;
  • Maintain relationships between teams, wider industry associations, customers, and suppliers;
  • Represent our interests within industry events and customer activities;
  • Ensure business is conducted in accordance with our Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

We are seeking a high-performing leader who can build trusted relationships and understand business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading Sales & Operations teams, preferably in the heavy machinery industry.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong project, people, and commercial management skills;
  • Solid conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills;
  • Commercial acumen to balance customer, business, and people needs;
  • Ability to improve performance through effective coaching and management;
  • Dedicated commitment to safety and quality work practices.
