Training and Compliance Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Training and Compliance Coordinator. This role will be based in Melbourne Airport and is a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support to the business unit across all training and compliance needs, ensuring seamless operations and quality service delivery.
  • Action end-to-end tasks related to the Employee's training and compliance life cycle, including Induction Training, New Starter check-ins, Refresher Course Training, Upkeep of Qualifications, and associated system processes.
  • Manage Training calendars, office room bookings, arrange equipment, and coordinate Trainer availability to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure strong relationships are built across the Unit to enable a seamless, quality-led service to the business, with staff, line managers, head office, and necessary external stakeholders.
  • Send out training invitations, reminders, and updates to participants, as well as communicate with trainers and other internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Assist with the coordination of national and in-house training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Deliver and facilitate training sessions, including First Day Inductions, to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and other relevant data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compliance documents such as Licences, ABF documentation, visas, and other relevant information to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to meet business needs.
  • Collect training program feedback and support continuous improvement processes to enhance the overall training experience.
  • Identify training needs through surveys, interviews, or assessments, and contribute to the design and development of training programs to address identified gaps.
  • Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly compliance reports as requested to provide visibility into key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Available Mon to Fri for a 38-hour week to meet business demands.
  • Previous exposure to coordinating, preparing, and delivering training sessions is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a Training role is preferred, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in managing a diverse group of stakeholders and suppliers in a high-volume, high-value environment is highly desirable.
  • Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Competent in accurate documentation and records management to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail, are essential to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills are required to develop and implement successful training programs.
  • Success in business partnering, working professionally across teams, is critical to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and work to deadlines to meet business needs.
