About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Carer to join our care team at Southern Cross Care Queensland. As a Personal Carer, you will be working as part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents.

In this role, you will demonstrate sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services depending on the individual resident's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting and other support services
  • Work as part of a care team to deliver exceptional clinical and personal care to residents
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and maturity in providing care to residents

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • Medication Assist Competency
  • Understanding of Aged Care and Residents' rights and responsibilities
  • Dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
