Job Overview

Seeking a results-driven Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Professional to drive the implementation of safety initiatives and training across multiple sites in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the HSE Management System, maintaining site-specific HSE plans and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Optimize processes to improve operational performance, reduce costs, boost productivity, and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and maintain HSE registers.
  • Foster team success by providing technical advice, developing safety talks, and assisting staff in safe delivery of on-site activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement continuous improvement initiatives to effectively manage HSE risks.

Requirements:

  • Relevant WHS qualifications (Certificate IV or higher).
  • Knowledge of relevant State WHS and environment law and ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001 Standards.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a WHS role in the resources, construction, facilities management, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Lead I-CAM Investigator Certificate and experience in High-Potential/Serious Incident investigations.
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
